Research & Learn

What do you need to know? Shorewood-Troy Library offers patrons access to 25 electronic resource (e-resource) collections free of charge. All e-resources can be accessed at home or the library via internet.

Not sure how to use the resources? Watch short, simple tutorials found in the Niche Academy library on this page!

Still have questions? 30-minute Book-a-Librarian sessions are being conducted by email and phone for reference and tech questions. Call 815.725.1715 or email reference@shorewoodtroylibrary.org to request an appointment.

The library also hosts a local history collection. Just ask at the Circulation desk for access to the materials. (NOTE: as of March 13, 2020, the library building is closed to the public so the local history collection is not available at this time.)
