Museum Adventure Pass Find adventure with your STPL card!
Use your library card to receive free admission or a special discount at select suburban cultural destinations. Here’s how you can check out a Museum Adventure Pass at the Library:
- Visit museumadventure.org to see all participating locations.
- Come in to the Library to pick up your pass.
Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Passes cannot be reserved or checked out online or on the phone. - One Museum Adventure Pass may be checked out per HOUSEHOLD. Passes may only be checked out by a Shorewood-Troy adult resident card holder. The loan period is seven days. Only one pass per account may be checked out during the seven day loan period.
Passes are for one-time use and are not transferable.
Your name will be printed on the pass and you will be asked to show identification at the museum. You should be prepared to show both your library card and an ID.

Explore More Illinois allows cardholders to reserve free and discounted admission, parking, and gift store purchases from cultural and recreational attractions in Illinois, including museums, cultural centers, zoos, aquariums, gardens, historical societies, park districts, and more. Here’s how you can use EMI:
- Visit findmoreillinois.org to see all participating locations.

Log into your account here and choose the Shorewood-Troy Public Library from the drop down menu. Enter your library barcode and PIN (the last four digits of your library card). Once you are logged in, you will see offers for the upcoming three months.
- Reservations must be made for a specific date. Using the calendar, you can choose what date you want to make the reservation for and then choose the Reserve option under the attraction. A confirmation box will appear, and a confirmation email will be sent. You have the option of printing out a pass at that time, or you can print it out later.
